Sports rehabilitation is a specialised appointment with one of our Sports Therapists or Physiotherapist and is used to prevent, diagnose and treat injuries. The main principle of sports rehab is to return the client to full functional fitness in the shortest and safest time. A full consultation and examination is conducted during the appointment to allow the appropriate diagnostic tests to be performed. Once the injury has been confidently diagnosed a treatment plan is then made. The treatment is dependent on the injury therefore it can include a number of treatment methods such as massage, acupuncture or strengthening exercises.
